Explore Valdresflya, a kite lover's paradise! Drive to the top and park along the road, taking in the stunning views. Be aware that from Christmas to Easter, the road is closed. However, Beitostølen and Slettefjell are excellent alternatives during this time.

Head to Valdresflya, a kite fan's paradise! Simply drive up to the top and park along the road in designated areas. During winter, the road is closed from Christmas to Easter. However, Beitostølen and Slettefjell serve as excellent alternative launch points.

Reach the top of the lift above Beitostølen's center for convenient access to kite opportunities. Hop on the 3-seater chair lift for a scenic ride to the peak, then kite towards Gardli on the left side of the lift. Alternatively, drive up to Gardli, just 3 km above the city center, and park for a small fee. Be mindful of skiers sharing the area.
