In Beitostølen, it's easy to enjoy life on two wheels, and there are options available to suit most people

Beitostølen Trail Arena is perhaps Norway's most beautiful purpose-built mountain biking facility. It primarily features family-friendly trails of green and blue difficulty levels with berms, rollers, bridges, and small jumps. Additionally, there are numerous natural red and black trails for those seeking greater challenges. The trails are marked. Regardless of which you choose, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains in Valdres and Jotunheimen.

How to get there: You can choose between taking the ski lift directly from the center up to the mountain or starting at Garli. Apart from the lift pass, it is free to cycle at Beitostølen Trail Arena.

Mjølkevegen is a popular cycling route and considered one of Norway's most beautiful. The tour goes from Vinstra in Gudbrandsdalen, through Valdres and Beitostølen, to Gol in Hallingdal. The total length is about 250 km, but of course, it is possible to cycle shorter stages. The bike route passes through some of the largest and most active mountain farm areas in Norway, mainly on mountain farm roads with little car traffic.
