Early trails and Lighted Trails
Every autumn, snow is laid out to prepare the trails, usually at the beginning of November. Beitostølen Stadium is known for keeping the trails open as long as possible, often until May 17, depending on weather conditions.
Beitostølen Stadium features World Cup-standard trails, including 12.5 km of approved trails for cross-country skiing and biathlon. There is also 7.5 km of artificial snow for an early season start, a 5 km lighted trail, and a 1.5 km lighted trail leading to and from Beitostølen center. For biathletes, there is a state-of-the-art arena with a total of 30 targets.
In recent years, Beitostølen Stadium has also invested significantly in upgrading and maintaining the facility, aiming to be Norway's most welcoming ski and biathlon venue.
