Beitosprinten is a Norwegian cross-country competition that marks the opening of the Norwegian cross-country skiing season and is held November 22-24, 2024. The event is accessible for all. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance or online.
The traditional Beitosprint has been held at Beitostølen since 2007. Our local youth sports club (ØSIL) and the local community volunteer to groom the arena for Norwegian and international TV audiences.
As soon as the skiing tracks are prepared, you can train on the same trails as Norway's skiing elite. Since 2021, Beitosprint has own categories for para-athletes, ensuring participation for all.

Øystre Slidre Idrettsarrangement AS, in collaboration with the Norwegian Ski Federation, are the organizers of Beitosprint, which includes cross-country skiing competitions with para classes and Nordic combined events.
The ticket price is only NOK 100 per day, and the event is FREE for children and youth under 16 years old. Tickets are sold at the gate of the ski stadium, and you can pay with a credit card or Vipps.
